Call of Symposia ANIM 2028

Please note that your submitted symposium (80 min) should include the following information:

• Working title
• 3 lectures (20 min each) or 4 lectures (15 min each): Title of the presentations and brief description for each lecture
• 3-4 Speakers: Title, surname, first name, address and e-mail address
• 2 chairs (selected from the speakers): Title, surname, first name, address and e-mail address
• Speaker changes and discussions within 20 min

These are the key topics for ANIM - EuroNeuro 2028:

• International treatment approaches of severe neurovascular disorders
• Organ dysfunction and failure in neurocritical care
• Management of status epilepticus
• Interprofessional teamwork - Neurocritical care to acute REHAB
• Neurocritical care of the elderly
• Neuropsychiatric disorders in the ED and in the NCCU
• Training, integration, and staff promotion in the NCCU

Criteria for evaluating the submitted symposia / presentations:

• Topic
• Interprofessionality
• Internationality
• Originality
• Quality

The ranking is carried out by the programme committee.

You will receive an electronic confirmation upon completion of your submission. If you do not receive an email, the process has not been properly completed. The result of the final review will be sent by the end of March 2027.

The final review may result in:

• Acceptance without changes
• Request for alteration with proposed changes
• Request for combination of your symposium with other symposia 
• Rejection with request for transfer to the abstract system

Please note that there will be no reimbursement of costs for speakers and chairs from German-speaking countries. In order to promote interprofessionalism and internationality, nurses and therapists as well as foreign speakers will be financially supported. The amount will depend on profession as well as origin and will be communicated with the announcement of the acceptance of the session.

To ensure that a broad spectrum of opinions is represented within the symposia, we ask you to include an interprofessional team and to represent different institutions and locations. The number of speakers or chairs in the symposium is limited to two per location. We would like to achieve more female representation in the programme and request at least one female chair and one female presenter per session. Please bear this in mind when planning your session.
